The thrilling denoument of our 2010 Edinburgh Fringe show “Life of Si: Si Harder”, was an unexpected musical breakdown charting the history of our teapot Alan, and how he had gone mising in Edinburgh the year before.

Verse 1 was performed by us live on stage before seguing into this video, the show’s finale…

Full lyrics (even for the bit you can’t see - but, y’know, it’s background) are on the YouTube page. BLAM.

Edinburgh Updatings

We are still in Edinburgh at the Fringe Festival. Three long weeks have passed and our body clocks, livers and morals are in the gutter. Shows have been fun, people have been nice and exciting things are in the pipeline…

We’ve done a fee wee press things so far, which I have collated here, like an OCD mother with scissors and a fridge to fill:

Also there’s an ickle podcast with the Five Pound Fringe:

The show is going well and people seem to be enjoying it. Which is good news. You should come. It’s on at The GRV at 6.40pm until 29th August. I don’t want it to sound like bribery, but there is a really strong chance you get a free fridge magnet. Hello!

We have returned from LALALand, tanned and like, totally, like, ohmygod unaffected! That’s so hot right now!

Suffice it to say we had an amazing time at the inaugural Hollywood Fringe Festival doing fun shows, making great friends and generally dispelling as many teeth/bowler hat/chimney sweep-based rumours as we could

LA Weekly reviewed our show, comparing us to The Smothers Brothers (we think this is a good thing) and saying we were, “amiable, eccentric, self-deprecating …an act of delightfully nutty repartee.”  Nice.

As part of ‘The British Invasion’ we also won the LA Theatre Review Award for ‘Best International’ and the Hollywood Fringe Award for ‘Best Comedy’.  Double nice.

Following the lovely reception our Guide To Leciester video received, we decided to put together a special Life Of Si Guide To Hollywood, which opened our show in LA. It’s above!

And finally… no sooner have we shaken our jet-lag (we haven’t) than we start previewing (what will become) our 2010 Edinburgh Fringe show, Life Of Si: Si Harder at these times and places:

Weds 7th July - Hen & Chickens, Islington (7.30pm)

Thurs 15th July - Falling Down with Laughter, London Bridge (8.30pm)

Thurs 22nd July - Found Objects Band, Camden

Sun 25th July -Etcetera, Camden (8.30pm)

Sun 1st Aug - The Albany, Great Portland St (8pm)

We’d love to see you there. Bring 7 friends! Free badges and hugs!?

SI FIVE!
